AP Omits Court Opinion Behind Death Penalty Decision

Court rejects death penalty for raping children

(AP)-""The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in his majority opinion. His four liberal colleagues joined him, while the four more conservative justices dissented."

Obviously, if the Court banned the death penalty for child rapists as AP reported three times before this quotation of the majority opinion, they think the death penalty is not a proportional punishment. We aren't stupid, AP. Why don't you report the actual opinion behind this kangaroo decision?

The Eighth Amendment is defined by "the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society.” That's right, the evolving standards of decency in a progressive, maturing society. Why would AP report a brazingly socialist decision?
