AP Omits Dem's Death Wish to Cheney Aide

AP relay's the almost hilarious hearing Democrats held over interrogation methods of terrorist suspects. Here's how AP reported: Cheney aide denies writing interrogation memos

(AP)- "Addington gave hostile answers to the Democrats who control the committee but remained calm and relaxed, stroking his beard or resting his head on his chin, sometimes pausing for several seconds before giving an answer. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, the New York Democrat who heads the subcommittee, told reporters he thought Addington was being smug.

Nadler asked Addington whether it would be legal in some circumstances to torture a detainee's child.

"I don't agree or disagree with it, Mr. Chairman. I don't plan to address it," Addington said. "I'm not here to render legal advice to your committee. You do have attorneys of your own to give you legal advice."...

Yoo... repeatedly refused to answer questions, insisting the Justice Department had instructed him not to address a range of questions. When Nadler told him he would have to give a specific reason, Yoo struggled, whispering with his lawyers before finally saying he could not violate attorney-client privilege or reveal classified information.

The panel's Democrats grew increasingly irate, with several shouting at the witnesses...

At one point, Yoo debated the meaning of "implement" with Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., who asked whether the 2002 memo had been implemented."

But AP left out the best part, gee I wonder why:

Delahunt To Addington: Maybe Al Qaeda Will See You On C-SPAN

(From Youtube Video)- "Delahunt responded: "Well, I’m sure they [Al Qaeda] are watching, and I’m glad they finally have a chance to see you, Mr. Addington."

AP doesn't report this joke about terrorists coming after him. Nor do they report why the Justice Department doesn't want him to answer certain questions. AP falsely reports that he doesn't give a specific answer.

(AP)- "Addington told Delahunt he couldn't discuss specific techniques being used, or even discussed for use, by CIA agents because terrorists may be watching his appearance and would gain insight into what U.S. intelligence agents are up to."

Here's the video of the Democrat joke. Notice his "smug" and "hostile" behavior:
