AP Frets That Illegals Send Less Money To Mexico

The Associated Press have a "concern," that illegal immigrants in the U.S. are losing their "Mexican heritage"- and sending less American money back to Mexico.

AP notes that $23 billion has been sent to Mexico in the last few years by illegals, that this is Mexico's second largest source of foreign income. Of course AP refuses to admit that many of these people are in the United States illegally. Only the generalization "immigrants" will do.

AP cheers Mexico's effort to increase the flow of money out of the States by illegals, a program which AP calls "institutionalized immigrant relationships." To their credit, AP does interview one immigrant (a legal one) who says the obvious: that Mexico would do better increasing benefits to Mexicans rather than trying to get money from people who fled Mexican poverty.
