Pastor Win Settlement For Arrest At Gay Parade

A pastor got $14,000 in a settlement with Witchita because he was arrested while preaching near a gay-rights parade. The pastor from the Spirit One Christian Center was charged with criminal trespassing after being arrested on a public sidewalk outside of the public park where the gay event was being conducted.

It's a thorn in the side of the gays rights activists that religion is protected under the US Constitution while there is no such thing as a protected gay class. I'm glad the judge in this case understood that about religion and about free speech.
