NBC 'Pressures CNBC To Stop "Obama-Bashing"'

According to NY Post, General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt and NBC Universal President Jeff Zucker met to discuss if "CNBC is now the anti-Obama network".

The leaders discussed the future of Rick Santelli, whose on-air rant inspired the massive million-person Tea Party protests.

Santelli wasn't present, but Jim Cramer was. Which is interesting considering the flak Cramer has received for his recent financial advice. Brian Steel confirmed that this meeting took place, claiming it's purpose was to thank "CNBC for a job well done in our in-depth reporting throughout the financial crisis."
