BBC Spins Against Obama Protesters

Obama faces down abortion heckles

No bias in that headline! None at all!

BBC describes a triumphant Obama, who "defended the right to abortion but said the procedure should be rare."

BBC spun Obama as a moderate, reporting that Obama "moved to reverse a Bush-era ban on embryonic stem-cell research," and that he wants to reduce "unintended pregnancies, and making adoption more available, and providing care and support for women who do carry their child to term."

But BBC didn't report any of Obama's highly extreme abortion positions. One of his first acts as president was to fund foreign abortions.

BBC reports that of Catholics, "42% believe abortion should be illegal." Nevermind that recent Gallup poll that finds a majority of Americans oppose abortions.

Interesting how the position has become pro-abortion and has given up the pro-choice facade completely. At least Obama and the news media is calling the ideal what it is - abortion - instead of trying to hide behind the bogus right to choose.

Perhaps this is an opportunity. The reason they used “pro-choice” in the first place is because very few people would be okay with infanticide if it was presented how it really is: the baby is alive in its mother, it feels pain and a life is truly ended when it is killed. Maybe now is a good time to push education?
