Media Falsely Labels Climategate 'Hacker'

Fox News, BBC, Telegraph, NYT.... everyone falsely reports that a hacker hacked into the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit internet server. Leaked emails reveal an international cover-up conspiracy to promote global warming.

The files appear to be collection by CRU for a Freedom of Information Act request which was successfully stonewalled by the University. This is very likely, considering the leaker called himself FOIA.

Here is the original leak:

We feel that climate science is, in the current situation, too important to be kept under wraps.

We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents. Hopefully it will give some insight into the science and the people behind it. This is a limited time offer, download now:

Looks like an inside whistleblower to me. They don't even portray it as anything resembling a scandal. The leaker only meant to expose the "random" sampling that had been prepared and then stonewalled for the FOI request. The university said it is investigating its staff to find the mole.

Funny, liberal media is demanding that this "hacker" be found and prosecuted for illegal action, never mind the shenanigans going on at the university. Hypocrisy what?
