Liberals Blogs Blame Tea Party For Times Square Bomb

via prisonplanet

The Nation:

It may be that the Pakistan-based Taliban, the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has quietly established a Connecticut franchise while we weren’t looking. That’s possible. But it seems far more likely to me that the perpetrator of the bungled Times Square bomb plot was either a lone nut job or a member of some squirrely branch of the Tea Party, anti-government far right. Which actually exists in Connecticut, where, it seems, the car’s license plates were stolen.

War In Context:
All speculation at this point, but if I was to place a bet on who did this, I’d go with someone whose sympathies are probably more Tea Party than Taliban. The first lead fits the profile: white male in his 40s.

Election Ink:
Anonymous sources have reported that a suspect is currently being questioned in the Bridgeport / New Haven CT area. The suspect is a middle age white male, has a history of strong political views, and considers himself a Tea Party activist.

TheRainbowCollective:
Who is the terrorist? The making of a “terrorist” starts when one person believes that he or she is above the world morally. For some reason this person believes that they need to save the world. It is a mindset very similar to those of the KKK, the Taliban and guess what- The Tea Party.
Have you seen the signs? One reads, “We cam unarmed this time”. There is someone reading this and trying to make note that these individuals are “just holding signs”. It is a peaceful protest. Sadly, this is how it begins. One person holds a sign with their thoughts which continue to fester. The next, they are becoming desperate and decide that the only way to be heard is to take action.
