HotAir.com Promotes CNN's Phony Pro-Gay Marriage Poll

Pay close attention to the wording:

CNN- "Forty-nine percent of respondents think gay and lesbian couples have the constitutional right to get married and have their marriage recognized by law, while 51 percent say those rights do not exist.

The gap widens dramatically when age is taken into account. Nearly six in ten Americans under the age of 50 say gay rights are protected under the Constitution. Only 38 percent of Americans over the age of 50 say the same thing.

Liberal Allahpundit on Hot Air and CNN play the typical liberal game of calling gay marriage an inherent gay right, by equating "have their marriage recognized by law" with "gay rights are protected under the Constitution." This is a glaring logical fallacy often displayed among liberals.

The actual poll sampled only 513 people, which isn't nearly enough to make it statistically correct. The reason CNN headlined "Americans split evenly on gay marriage" is because only 49% think there is a constitutional right to gay marriage while 52% think there should be.

Again this is a very unscientific poll from a once conservative blog. It's sad to see Hot Air become stupid.

So disappointed in HotAir. I've been following & reading that site since I was 16 (about 4 years now), but just can't continue to anymore.

From the pretentious articles AllahPundit and Ed write, telling us Social Con's that we should go along with their beliefs...just because.
Never even explaining why they themselves support gay marriage and and other liberal propaganda.
But yet they label themselves conservative bloggers?!? HA! What, just 'cause you support fiscal responsibility? Anybody with any common sense knows there's more to being a conservative that that.

Then the commenters who have hijacked the site with the same beliefs. If you post a socially conservative stance, you WILL be attacked...and called a bigot, and every other run of the line insults liberal use.

But, I'm gonna stop before I go on any longer. Sorry for going off on a little tangent. Just sickens me that HotAir is till labeled a "conservative" blog...

Was typing a little too fast. :p

I hear you Olivia. I was worried HotAir would become liberal when it was bought by evangelical Christian media group Salem Communications. I just can't figure out why they are liberal about this. Salem heavily promotes traditional marriage.
