AP- "Mitt Romney probably won’t find a whole lot of Republican voters when he travels to Oregon’s liberal stalwart city next week. But that’s not what he’s after.
The former Massachusetts governor is stumping for cash Monday in Portland, the heavily Democratic city that has helped that party dominate just about every statewide elected office in Oregon."
A local paper in Oregon is appalled by this claim. Actually there are more Republicans in Portland than anywhere else in the state, about one-third of all Republicans in the state. Recent polls find Romney is closing in on Obama in Oregon, so doesn't it make perfect sense for him to campaign there??
