According to alexa.com, TheGatewayPundit.com blog seriously lost visitors over the last month. Other conservative news sites such as Drudgereport have gone up, during this time of increasing political excitement.
Traffic stats from Alexa show a 21% decrease over the last week. Despite the recent bump from people returning from the holidays, the 3 month average shows a 6% decrease.
After playing it on the fence, Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit came out as a Mitt Romney critic and Newt Gingrich fan recently. The majority of his stories are now anti-Romney, and often very petty. His top post currently ridicules Romney for asking Santorum not to get so angry about Romneycare.
Will Jim Hoft go the way of Jim Robinson when Romney gets nominated???
