Were Hateful Fliers Attacking Gabrielle Giffords' Gay Former Intern STAGED?

The alleged victim of this hateful flier is Daniel Hernandez, the intern who helped save the life of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Quite coincidentally it was discovered by RightWingWatch, which is run by People For the American Way, the tax-exempt political group of which Daniel Hernandez is a member.

Gee, what a coincidence.

Rightwingwatch claims: "A source in the district sends us two flyers that Hernandez’s opponents are reportedly handing out to parents dropping their children off at schools in the district." So the parents who received these flyers [sic] just happened to send it to the anti-conservative internet site that Daniel Hernandez is associated with?

But take a closer look at the flyers [sic] and they appear to be likely staged. "We need a real man who supports Sports." Yeah, cause you know how conservatives always say that. Imagine a gay Leftist in front of his computers creating a phony flier from his opponent and thinking up what a homophobe would say. "He doesn't support Sports." Yeah.

Would a homophobe call Hernandez an "LGBT" and put a handsome photo of him next to the word "equality"? Of course not. A homophobe would call him a gay slur, and would put a photoshopped photo of him kissing a man. Like that photoshopped picture of President Bush kissing the Saudi king that homophobic Leftists like to spread.

The second flier portrays the author as stupid. "Daniel Hernandez cares only about one things taking your guns away." This is the kind of language Hernandez might think his bigoted opponents use. Actually, considering the spelling mistakes made by Miranda Blue on the RightWingWatch website, maybe it was unintentional. I don't know who wrote it but this is all very suspicious.

And the "high flying school board member" line makes no sense. Nobody ever complained about him flying on planes. Sounds more like an aggrandizement of Hernandez than a criticism.

The photo of a tiny handgun with a cross-out over it seems odd. If the author of the flier googled "take your guns away" they would have found this kind of image as a top result. But would a gun-rights advocate really use such an image?

What does gun rights have to do with schools anyway? That is strange. These flyers [sic] were supposedly passed out in front of schools right? Well, take a look at the People For the American Way. They are fixated on Daniel Hernandez and his gun control control activism.

Photo forensics reveals some interesting facts about these images. There is enormous pixelation around the text, indicated that it has been copied multiple times. But the photos on the flyers [sic] have much less pixilation. The background paper has little pixilation. Metadata suggests it was saved multiple times on Photoshop CS6.

Look at the paper folding on the first flier. The paper seems to fold and contort, yet the text above it runs perfectly horizontally across. Why doesn't the text match the paper behind it?
